1928
Carbon Copy's roots stem from a small vial of Soir De Paris, taken from a bottle of the fragrance made when it was released in 1928.
The smell from the vial was divine, with fresh top notes of fruit, bergamot and violet. Heart notes of a deep rose, ylang-ylang and orris. Base notes of amber, sandlewood and vanilla.
We couldn't believe what we had found! With a perfume this rare, we didn't know how we would find or afford more.
Carbon Copy's Founding
Founded by two 20-something perfume lovers, we absolutely loved the way vintage &/or designer fragrances smelt, but there was no possible way we could obtain a meaningful amount of these beautiful fragrances without spending a fortune.... and what about when the vintage ones ran out?
This is where Carbon Copy comes in. We founded our shop with the dream of not only immortalising discontinued scents, but making the experience of those and some more recent high-luxury fragrances affordable.
Creating our Scents
Our scents are created using the highest quality ingredients at the optimal quantities. All fragrances are Eau de Parfum, meaning we use at least 20% perfume oil in each bottle. More than most high street fragrances!
Our perfumers and us work hard to create each scent, inspired by the classics as well as current heavy hitters so that you can enjoy them all day long without the normal price tag!
